Permaculture, Food Forests & Ecological Gardens

Weed Cloth Removal & Soil Building Package: (PREMIER PACKAGE for Summer 2010)
($35/hour plus cost of compost - Total Cost depends on size of yard; additional charge for extensive stone removal).

This is our premier package for Summer 2010 because we believe in it so much.  Set your garden up right for a lifetime of abundance!  As far as we know, no one else around offers anything similar. It could be argued that soil is your garden's most precious resource. If your soil is poor, it won't store water or nutrients or oxygen properly.  Poor soil leads, at best, to stunted plants. Poor soil lacks beneficial microorganisms and worms that are needed to break down organic and inorganic matter and to feed your plants properly.  It lacks beneficial fungus to nourish roots.

In addition, weed cloth doesn't even do what it is meant to do.  Within just a year or two, enough soil has built up on top of the fabric that weeds can easily take root. Not to mention the eyesore of that ugly weed fabric poking out from around strangled trees, or between perennials. We believe there is massive opportunity to collectively free our soil and in doing so to nurture a rejuvenation of healthy ecosystems throughout our neighborhoods.

This package includes the removal of weed cloth from your garden and the addition of compost or locally composted manure.
