Beautiful beautiful Beets 08/16/2009
 Chiogga Beets, Aug.16, 09 CCC Look at this beautiful beet poking through the ground! The tops (greens) are still fairly small and very succulent, yet the beets are fully developed. The backyard is windy and sunny and gets sun almost all day (except for early morning).
